Kweku Obeng Andam is the Lead Photographer and Creative Director of Light and Rays Studio. Tentatively, Kweku’s career started off in 2011.

 

Kweku’s photography covers a wide range of genres, including Documentary, Advertising and Commercial, Weddings, Portraits and events.

 

 

 In 2018, Reuters News Agency, commissioned him to make a reportage of the Royal visit of then, Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla’s visit to Ghana.

 

One remarkable work again was when the Office of the First Lady of Ghana, commissioned him to make reportage of Melania Trump’s (First Lady of U.S.A) visit to Ghana. Some memorable settings to this day was when he photographed Marcel Desailly (Former French International Footballer and currently FIFA Ambassador), International Songstress Gena West, Her Excellency Martha Pobee (United Nation’s Assistant Secretary General - Africa).

 

 Kweku Obeng Andam’s zeal for excellence and his approach to work, earned him a working role in the Office of the President, Ghana; where he was assigned to the Office of the First Lady of Ghana’s communication team. His love for nature draws him to make pictures when not on assignment; from magnificent landscapes to people of all walks of life.

 

He is widely described as one artist who takes conscious efforts in making images by purposively building light.
